Biography

The portrait is outdoors, on a beach, with the ocean behind her softened by a long lens. She kneels on damp sand with her back to the camera and twists at the waist to look over her right shoulder, one hand lifted near her chin, the other tucked in. Her hair is long, wavy and light brown, falling down her back and over the shoulder. The swimsuit is a dark two piece, a bralette top with thick straps and a high cut bottom. The soles of her feet face the camera, sand packed into the arches. The light is bright and flat, the sky almost white. It is a holiday photograph with a deliberate composition.

The listing is a model profile rather than a star profile, a distinction the site makes in its own taxonomy. The model roster runs on images: a handle, a portrait, a register, a link. It is the part of the catalogue where the photographs do the introducing and the profile is built around the frame rather than around credits. Melena Maria Rya fits that shape. The beach shot is the introduction, the turn of the head is the hook, and the rest is left to the scenes. This page is independent, in six languages, and does not pretend to be her official site.
